Cedella Marley Booker, ("Mother Booker") lives in Miami (Florida) and sometimes in Nine Miles. You cannot phone her when she is on the island. So Martina had to go to Nine Miles two times. First time she arranged an interview date with Cedella Booker (December 9th 1998). The second time she conducted the interview (December 16th 1998).
Martina recorded much background "noise" and so you get an impression of the acoustic atmosphere of Nine Miles: Rastas calling loudly, passing "rasta cars" with reggae music and crackling "rasta motorbikes".
